Good folk of Sanctuary,
My name is Breena Watchever. I am a priestess of Berronar Truesilver, the Mother of the Stout Folk. I am also a healer skilled in the use of both the mundane and divine arts.
I have lived here for nearly sixty years as a seamstress in the Residential District, and used what medical skill I had to treat my friend and neighbors when they were sick or injured. A few months ago I received a calling to serve my lady and all those who are in need of aid.
The Mother asks that a place of medicine and quality care be founded here in Sanctuary. A place where the newly arrived can find shelter and support in the difficult transition many make from slavery to freedom. There are folk here with the talent to help these needy. I would like to send out a request for others to assist me in this noble and just cause.
The Council has a proposal on their desk to help me establish this shelter. This facility will depend on the efforts of goodly volunteers willing to donate their time and efforts for the needy. We need only the approval of the Council, some initial funding gained either by generous donations from private sources or the Council itself, and the will to see this through.
This shelter will provide free healing services to all citizens of Sanctuary. It will work to maintain the public health to prevent, contain and treat the diseased and ill. It will help the unstable find peace and adjust to freedom, including medical treatment to remove any implants suffered by the unfortunate ones that are yet slaves but walk amongst us.
This will not be a temple or shrine to any faith. It's function will be treat your neighbors, your loved ones and yourself.
Join us. Petition your Council to allow us to begin this righteous task. We have been without this badly needed service long enough.
