I had to redo my rig and make a few improvements. So now that I have a clean slate, what's a good IRC program to use?...IRC n00b friendly is a plus. I was using mIRC, but I seemed to have a lot of disconnects. Your IRC help is much appreciated!

I use Firefox, and find Chatzilla pretty convenient.

It probably sucks, but its all I know.

I use the same, firefox+chatzilla. no need more if dont want some colors and stars and etc from silly scripts.

I use trillian, it's everything in one.

I would recommend X-Chat 2. Free, simple and slick.

Like A95 I also use Trillian for the same reason.

I use and like mIRC as a stand alone program. I highly doubt it is what causes your disconnects.
