[letter to the School of War]

To the faculty of the School of War,

I am dreadfully sorry to hear and see the tragedy that has befallen your shrine. As a servant of my own deity, Lord Ilmater, I sympathize with you greatly. I wish you only the best in your continued service to our fair city.

I wish to know upon what grounds our School was founded. Was it simply meant to strengthen the militia, or were there once intentions on creating an armed force? Anything about the history of the School would be very important, as it would help me to approach you under the right assumptions-- which I do hope to meet with a faculty member sometime within the coming weeks.

My thanks for your time. If there is a need of the services of the Ilmateri congregation, please, do not hesitate to contact me.

Servant of Lord Ilmater

Mr. Westmore,

Our goal is to make sure that every citizen of Sanctuary is prepared to defend him or herself as well as aid in the defense of his or her home.

We have no intention at the moment of forming a military force, nor do we have anywhere near the personnel to attempt such.

If you wish to speak with a staff member, we have several, but I think your questions would be best answered by myself. I can be found about town and at the Arena.

-Frank Dederich, Headmaster of the School of War
