Leech Quest

This quest just feels bland, despite all the fun that fighting evil leeches should provide.

The gold reward is about 250, the xp reward is about the same for a two man party. Which overall, just feels disappointingly low.

I'd like to see meaner leeches, leeches whose touch does vampiric damage, healing them as they harm you.

Also, ancient dire leeches, which do wounding damage.

These things would entertain me, mucho.

Plus, pools of leeches! Entering the water should cause leeches to suck your blood out--say a trigger effect that causes damage if you fail a fort check.

These are pretty good ideas!

It does seem like a really easy quest, but then again, it is a 2-4.

Still, when I begin to think I can solo it on my wizard, it might need some slight tweaking.

I would be for adding a few more leeches, and possibly giving the boss a very minor boost somehow, but not much more than that.

I would be for pools of water with leeches too small to do anything about, made only to avoid, providing there was some type of warning in the area.

I've never been able to beat this quest. >_> It can be stronger sure- but maybe the guy (since I forgot who gives it) should give you a tip about how to prep for it- since most people will meta that fact anyway?

<_< or not.

Flying leeches. Forearms with a buzzing sound.

How about throwing in an infestation of maggots, or a wounding damage effect?

Wounding will be able to kill a level 4 character really quick. >_>

AScottBay Wounding will be able to kill a level 4 character really quick. >_>

what if the wounding is only 1hp per 2 rounds? That's enough time to heal your self.

Instead of wounding or the like you could have leeches have 10% DC 14 const decrease 1d2.
