Letter to Spellcrown

Concerning the existence of souls,

I continue to have questions about your theories on souls and would prefer to discuss them in letter as communication seems difficult when using the spoken word.

1. I would like to know your definition of "soul". Without understanding your definition of what a soul is, I cannot understand your arguements concerning its non-existance.

2. You mentioned that the movement of our beings between planes follows the same rules as conjuration. I am perplexed over this, for when a creature is summoned it leaves its plane entirely, travels to our plane, then, when it leaves, the creature leaves in its entirety. When a person in this realm dies, a physical body is left behind, and a new body forms on the new plane according to you. This leaving behind of a physical body seems different from the rules of conjuration.

3. Do you believe the new form retains memories of its life in this realm? If so it would seem this also counters the laws of conjuration as creatures summoned to this realm have no memory of their time spent here do they? Are they not plucked from their existence for service here, then returned once service is complete, none the wiser?

I look forward to a response
