Hello again, I'm finally back online from my new apartment. Regretfully I don't think I will be coming back to EFU now though -- this little offline period must have broken it's enthrallment over me. With a new computer there's so many other new games I'd like to try out before succumbing to addiction once again when NWN2 comes out. I'm looking forward to seeing what the EFU and CoA communities will come up with for it. No doubt I'll see you again then.
Ambrose Crownguard and Adhemar Damodreth fell to unknown evils out in the Underdark and were never heard from again.

This coming from someone who "quit" CoA four or five times, and has enjoyed EfU even more. Knowing myself, I can't make any guarantees.

Well, after a couple of months nwn 2 will be out already, and you'll probably play it a bit, then you want some RP with buddies online and you swap to nwn 1 for a while, until when/if EfU converts to nwn 2.
Yes, it happens. I have also stopped playing Nwn several times, thinking "how did I ever enjoy playing it so much?" But... well, you know. Here we go again. :D

Please let this not happen. I can't afford a computer which could run Nwn2, and anyway, if I know anything about Bioware's products, the release version and the patches for the next six months will be crap and buggy as hell.
To my understanding, EfU is still a relatively new PW. I don't see the point of tossing all the work away so soon.

That said, I doubt we'll be taken into the Underdark in the OC, which means that there'll have to be a lot of community work before EfU NWN2 style can actually come true, and keeping in mind the possibilities (and likelihood) of expansion packs, this work may then have been for naught. I don't think you'll have to worry about EfU converting to NWN2 anytime soon. :)
