-- Sanctuary Library --

I wish to request all information regarding to the art of Necromancy in the form of Animating, all data research around ways and means to achieve immortality information about the seven locked tomes of the assumed Necromancer.

This information will be solemnly used for private research and shall only be used to better understand the Dark Dealings, as opposed to actually practising these.

For the time and trouble, thanks in advance.

Respectfully yours,

G. Ebonheart Last Stand #13

A letter is sent to the Last Stand addressed to "G. Ebonheart, Room 13, Last Stand."

Master Ebonheart,

The Sanctuary Library currently has no explicit data that would aid in your desire to further your arcane studies of Necromancy. While the Library holds to a "no censorship of submitted materials" policy, I would urge you to proceed with any such 'necromantic study' with extreme caution, if at all. There is a fine line between research and practice of what you term "the Dark Dealings".

The only tome on the Library Shelves that I can suggest may be of aid in your research is Accounts of Undead in Dunwarren written by Councillor Varlam Nikitovich - but this work was written to aid adventurers and archaeologists in combatting the undead that plague Dunwarren, not to explore the means to achieve immortality. You are free to read this work at your leisure should you choose to use the Library facilities.

The locked tomes of Po are still a mystery. I speculate, that the word 'Animation' in the title of such works might refer to an animation technology specifically written for the building, or resources, of 'the Dunwarren Machine' by ancient Svirfnebli (ie: perhaps a particular type of Animatron, or Dunwarren device). Then again, these tomes could be a straighforward means of necromancy, I do not know. Nobody, to my knowledge, has unlocked any one of these tomes of Po. Such knowledge, would only be valuable if it furthers the protection and welfare of the township of Sanctuary.

You may wish to direct further enquiries to Former Councillor Adelia Tyrell, who conducts personal research at the Sanctuary Library.

Sincerely,

- Kepler Szul Assistant to the Library Curator.
