[Frank Dederich and Kepler Szul]

Identical letters are sent to both men at the Society Chapterhouse and the School of War.

Dear Sir,

I have recently heard accusations made against a man named Brass who seeks stewardship of the Mausoleum. I wish to speak with you about his offenses in the near future.

I will seek you out.

Pvt. Anton Marcato Veilguard of Kelemvor

A letter is sent to the Watch House, addressed to "Private Marcato".

Private Marcato,

I would certainly wish to discuss this with you, for I am curious as regards the tenets of your faith as a Veilguard of Kelemvor. I do not profess to know a great deal about Kelemvor's teachings. However, I am certain that you must have a reverent respect for the dead, and would consider necromancy, in any form, to be a violation of the bodies of the dead.

The situation regarding the man named Brass occurred on an expedition initiated into the Badlands by an impromptu group of Sanctuarians seeking to hopefully save some Shield Dwarves from a dreadful fate of slavery to Duergar. I believe that what took place was a hurried miscommunication of ideologies between Brass and a warrior named Garry, on the doorstep, so to speak of a suspected duergar stronghold and slave pen. Not the ideal place to be holding a debate over religion. Obviously, a necessary and timely debate in the eyes of Mister Brass.

So as to be accurate and clear regarding this incident, and what took place after this disagreement between the two men, I would prefer to communicate further with you in person.

Mystra's blessings and may Kelemvor provide for his faithful,

- Ordinant Kepler Szul

I can be found at the School, or about town. If I see you about, I will tell you all you wish to know. And probably more.

-Frank Dederich, Headmaster of the School of War
