Greetings!

I've taken the liberty of writing up a speech for you to read out when the discussions have been concluded. So begins-

Citizens of Sanctuary!

We, the Council, take this opportunity now to make vocal our gratitude to Etorix the Altruistic for his aid in our recent plights. The formian threat began as one of the largest to ever befall Sanctuary. With scouting reports estimating their numbers close to a thousand, it was clear that they easily overwhelmed even our strong Watch.

The Battle of Slaal'teesh proved to be the true turning point in what would have otherwise been total destruction however. We have recieved word from Agents of Etorix stating that He, in his glorious wisdom and divine altruism, did secret away an artefact desired by the mummy giant Zovaldar to his city upon the North Shore. Knowing full well the vast army of formians that would soon descend on our own city of Sanctuary, He did this so that we would be spared total destruction.

Drawn by the magic of this artefact, near a thousand formian massed against Slaal'teesh. Brave kobold warriors of The Shadow Tribe stood strong against this vast onslaught. Their well trained nature, indomitable will and their understanding that they fought and died so that brave citizens of Sanctuary could be protected did ensured they fought unwaveringly against seemingly impossible odds! As kobold and formian fought upon the gates and within the docks of Slaal'teesh, the mummy giant Zovaldar arrived. Etorix, ever our protector, stood against this creature of such vast power. We have scattered reports of this battle, yet it is clear that Etorix did wound Zovaldar extensivly. With his retreat and that of what remained of his formian army, the battle of Slaal'teesh was one out by Etorix and his Shadow Tribe warriors. A glorious day for Sanctuary and Shadow Tribe both.

It is because of this great sacrafice made by The Shadow Tribe and Etorix himself that what little remained of the formians were so deftly dispatched by our brave protectors, and the weakened Zovaldar so easily driven off.

In closing, I feel it would be a grave insult not to recognize this great deed done for Sanctuary. Once again Etorix has done all in his power to ensure the safety and prosperity of the citizens of Sanctuary. I hope you will all join me in offering thanks at The Embassy of The Shadow Tribe here in upper Sanctuary in the coming days.

That looks to be just about everything that needs be said I think. I hope nothing there worries you too much? I tried to keep it as short as possible, but with enough detail to truly let people understand all He risked in the name of Sanctuary.

So, when can I expect the speech to be read? I've love to be there with you, standing shoulder to shoulder!
