You support the Shrine of Ascension and their heretical ways, do you not? If no, then I duly apologise.

Ivory Crusader,
My support for the ascension is for the hospitality that they give to the people of Lower. No matter their beliefs, they opened their doors to feed and shelter some of the beggars and orphans there, since the Beacon cannot house everyone. They do not deprive people, or assualt them, or coerce them into serving the Ascension. I have been reading, however, a book in the Temple of Tyr within New Dunwarren, called "A Contemplating on Divine Rulership," which calls out those whom seek freedom as vagabonds and criminals. If you believe yourself a holy man and have read this, I agree with you. The criminal who seeks to call upon 'freedom from shackles' and 'freedom from tyranny' is not to be considered just, because his cause is just. The people of the Ascension have not called for rebellion, have not raised a hand against anyone. Their beliefs are that there is a way to the surface, and there definately is. The question is whether or not we can find this way, and if it safe. Personally, I do not wish to return to the surface, I wish to remain here, and guard the area of New Dunwarren, to shine out as a beacon so that all whom have found this place, struggling with the bonds of slavery.
If you ask if I agree, and support, every action of every member, I can say that I do not. No organization can be held accountable by a few individuals, but by the masses and by the doctrine on which they were founded. Each group must be treated as a group, and not the worst individual in it. I do not see how their ways are heretical, and I would ask that you expand on that. It would have to be in a letter, since you seem to wish to remain hidden and shine dully, if at all. I would still ask that you come by the Temple of Tyr to discuss your views with me.
