Hello everyone, I'm new here. I've logged in once or twice with my insane ex-illithid slave, Lorick.

I actually am not going to have NWN access for some time so I wanted to take the time between NWN access to get aquainted with the server and possibly start getting to know people OOCly and ICly (through OOC and IC forum usage.)

Anyone with suggestions or curiosities regarding me or the server, please post here!

My current character is a level 3 human wizard named Lorick. He is mentally insane, with a brain that has been augmented for computations and raw information storage but does not function properly socially or with right-lobe artistics/common sense issues/frontal lobe social interaction. As an ex-illithid slave, he has several issues that I want to develop throughout my time on this server, and I welcome anyone with ideas or input on the matter!

Also anyone who recognizes this and likes what they see, buzz me with a PM and we'll make friends ;)

A friend of mine told me about it after they found it. I'm not sure if said friend is here yet, or anything, but they were looking at the site and said it looked cool. I came and took a look at the site and about died.

I'm not sure where my friend found it from though. :)

School for the most part. I need to convince myself that installing NWN once again isn't going to ruin my chances of keeping up good grades, as I do have RL aspirations apart from playing NWN and enjoying RP ;)

Another question has come up and that is level progression, aka how does it go?

What's the highest level PCs can be expected to reach without putting years and years into levelling a single character?

... That depends on the person. Some like to quest -some dont. Seom are good at it- some arnt.

But you can likely get a character to 5or6 if you know how to stay alive. higher then that would likely require either experience at the gameworld- talent for questing- or a bit of time.

We've had people hit 10th before, I don't know if anyone has ever broken that. But that did require months and months.

The key is that you can Rp just fine at any level. :)

Righteo. I like that. Nobody's hit epic, and this is a good thing because epic is overrated.

I believe the max level on the server is 20, so no one will ever become epic.

As for epic NPCs, I believe that's a big fat FOIG!

*huggles* Hey hun... really so far it is a fantastic server... and you will quickly find how spoiled we are on the other one. I've found the RP to be fantastic, the suspense wonderfully addictive, and the game of survival a challenge that makes every item found and every level gained a huge accomplishment that keeps you coming back.

I've found the player base as a whole to be helpful in game if you ask... So welcome to the Underdark dear hope you find it to be as enjoyable as I have so far. *huggles*

Welcome Evilpig... and yes with the addition of Orthias to EfU it just makes EfUs player base more diverse than ever. The bar of RP creativity and expectation just keeps getting higher the more I play - expectations from myself, and what I see other people are doing with their characters. I'm constantly amazed by the quality of gaming, fun, and mystery on EfU!

Say hello to the DMs too! They wont bite you much (in-game that is ! ;) ). Oocly: with gameplay and character-story-server direction; the DM team have been nothing but helpful and understanding.
