Being a bit slow, I have only just done the new revamped gnolls quest.
I just wanted to tip my hat to the DM/DMs who reworked it. It is much more fun now.
Props and kudos.

I would probably tone down the frequency of traps, and make it seem less like tight roping and more like "hey, slow down some." Thankfully, these traps do not have the potential to kill my character in one hit if he accidentally steps on one with full health.
I assume my opinion will be attacked, and that many other players and DMs like this sort of thing as its prevalent in some of the other quests, but I thought I would do the brave thing and speak my mind.
Anyways, the quest did need to be toughened up some, in comparison to others. Kudos for paying attention to that detail.
I must agree with that.
Or, at least, make the invisible ones visible.
Because they are damn annoying.
...When questing always bring a rogue along.

can't wait to try it - one other quest had been spiced up and totally mashed the party - fantastic! it really was fun because we were all thinking WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!! and running like f***. i do enjoy that some of the time. some quests like the gnolls had become really predictable so much kudos to dms for the re-working.
Was good, Scrap and I approve. Up it to 7 >_<
I'd like to see gnolls put around the traps more, so you have to deal with them both at the same time. Otherwise it's barely an annoyance, if even that.
I really enjoyed the revamp. I particularly enjoyed the little side quest you can do afterward.
