Charm Person and Dominate Person

Oroborous "Inconsistently applied, variably interpreted, and generally just far more trouble than it is actually worth."
What is the verdict on the use of these two spells on other PCs? How should we roleplay their effect?

To simplify things, just don't. If a player is charmed/dominated, no one can force this player to do anything mechanically via the engine, so really in turn there should be no expectations for any modified behavior. If a player wants to play along, you are welcome to make arrangements OOC'ly with the person performing the check, but by no means should you feel obligated to do so.

In which case what you see is what you get, a daze spell.

However, like Bill said, if two PCs want to RP the PnP spell effects, that is fine! However, make sure you both understand what those are. No forced suicides, or charms that last longer than the spell duration, for example.
