A letter for Sergeant Greyward left at the Watch House

Sergeant Greyward, the disappearance of councilman-to-be Mandarin Dreagle is indeed troubling, and I know precious few details about him as it was before I arrived. I have no doubt that he is dead. A wise man does not pay 1000 coins and go through a lot of trouble to run for council and then refuse to claim his seat. By all accounts Mandarin was a man of planning and keen foresight. Of course I realize this is the Underdark; dangers abound, accidents happen and people disappear all the time. It is my business however to suspect the worst, and I will not rest until I find out what happened to such a prominent figure of the community. (Which brings me to another related question: just how many of our citizen's disappearances have been accounted for?)

You mentioned before that Ivandur Reynolt was one of Dreagle's most vocal critics. Has Ivandur been questioned about Mandarin's disappearance, and if so, what answers did he give to the questions? It would aid me greatly to know before I question him myself. Has anyone else been questioned for that matter? Is someone from the Watch working on the case, and would I be stepping on any toes so to speak if I worked on it myself? As I mentioned when we talked, I will share any new information I find.
