Citizens of Sanctuary, might I have your attention please. This is Councilor Hoaradin Delorin speaking.

As you already know our city has come under assault by the Formian. This was just a minor initial skirmish. A much larger and more serious threat is looming.

However, I tell you now that you should not be afraid. I have done all that I can, with the assistance of my fellow Councilmen, to prepare our brave Watchmen for this moment. I have even ensured that the Spellguard stand ready.

The threat we face is mighty, but no matter what may happen victory is ours. We will not be defeated. These monsters, they come from the darkness of this place, to lead an assault upon our city. We fight for our homes and our freedom. We will win.

To our brave defenders I say this: All my life I have embraced two simple concepts - honor Kossuth and defend my home. Sanctuary is home to us all. Be without fear in the face of our enemies. Be brave and upright and Kossuth's light shall illuminate you. Know that you will fight and you will win.

To our citizens I say this: When word of the attack comes, take to your homes and get out of the streets. Trust in our defenders to do their job. If you do not have a home take to the nearest public building for shelter and safety. Remain within until word of the battle ends. As you stand in your home, with your family and with friends, I encourage you to pray for our defenders - pray to Kossuth so that he might empower them with righteous inner fire.

Be well, be safe, and know that we shall be victorious. May the light of the purifying fires of Kossuth illuminate this city and all within, may we conquer the darkness that seeks to overcome us.
