Carmine,
We should talk though. Father has taken to becoming far too arrogant in your absence. You were wise to stand up to him, but it is a true shame he has kicked you out of the house.
I feel mother is losing her ability to stand up to father and this is making our household feel all the smaller and more unwelcoming. I do not wish to be kicked out of home either though of course.
Let me know if I can help you though.
Your cousin,
Hector Fear
PS: You forgot your thesaurus in your room.

*Another letter to the gambling hall.*
That was daft Carmine. It just makes mother angrier and even turns your little cousin more deeply against you. He's impressionable, and worthwhile. Let me talk to him, I expect he too will come to realize you can be a contributing member to our family. Not a black sheep worthily led to slaughter.
You need to stay out of trouble. The extended family may not look up to you now, but in time as Father grows more arrogant, that may change. Whereupon you will become a symbol.
Not everyone listens to mother. Mother does not always know best. She is too busy kissing father sometimes to realize that marriage is not always advisable. If the divorce can proceed without hitch, you may find mother welcoming you back. Despite her harsh words for you.
Your cousin,
Hector Fear
