The idea of this forum is for players to write in character journals, that detail events that happen in-game, character thoughts or even background information.
Some things to keep in mind when writing these:
It is advised to keep a copy of these entries on your character in-game. Even just a scribed note with a link to the thread of your actual journal here, should suffice. This isn't a rule, merely something we would like to see; as it can lead to some interesting roleplay.
All entries should be 100% in character.
Ensure that what you write is tasteful and interesting to someone who might want to read these. (For example, describing a scripted quest, and spoiling it for others isn't something others will be interested in reading)

Question - how do you scribe a scripted notes and link it to journals?

Good question. When we wrote up those guidelines, we were planning on having an in-game scribe system set up soon afterward. Sadly, this scribe system hasn't been implemented yet. Until it is, there isn't really an easy way to keep a copy of your journal in-game, so don't worry about that for now.
Apologies for the confusion.

Copy/Paste works for now.
Ctrl + C on da text, Ctrl + V in da Character's in-game journal.
Don't know if it will affect old papa Lag, though.

Do these journals serve any OOC purpose (DMs making plots more interesting by questioning a character's morals) or are they here for players to express their characters?

I'd guess a little of both.
