I refer to your public request for any and all information pertaining to the recent battle between the Formians and the Shadow Tribe. In the interests of fostering good will between the Spellguard and Sanctuary's new Council, I am only too happy to help.

My sources reveal your fellow Councilor, Longhands, was present during the battle. I suggest he would be your best option for a detailed first hand account. Failing that, I may be able to arrange a transfer of our own information.

It is time to set aside any petty differences that have grown in recent times. Sanctuary faces perhaps it's greatest threat in its history, and rest assured the Spellguard will be there to defend the city and its citizens.

In the spirit of cooperation, I will tender a copy of the report, though if you have spoken with those involved I doubt it will shed further light on the event (with references to the source removed for obvious reasons). In return, I ask that we in the Spellguard be equally kept appraised of all new information that comes to light regarding the Formians and the giant leading them.

We commit ourselves to stand with you in defense of Sanctuary, and the sharing of information will make all our tasks easier.

Agent Blake Report: Formian attack on Sslal'teesh [For general overview, all Agents] Flamerule 5th, Year 152 Agent Blake

I have received a verbal report from XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX on an attack by a large Formian force led by what appeared to be an intelligent undead giant on the Shadow Tribe and it's master.

A small group consisting of Stormstrike, Toman Vashan, the Seeker Cedric, Councilor Longhand and an un-named elven female made a scouting expedition out around the Dark Lake and towards Sslal'teesh. There, they came across a huge force of the Formian creatures (I will describe them further shortly).

They were under the leadership of a huge, undead giant. The giant appeared to have divine spellcasting abilities, calling down blessings of some unknown deity while it fought the Shadow Tribe. The giant fought the dragon Etorix and had the best of the battle, wounding it grievously and driving it away, before laying waste to the city and the kobold population. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX They fled before they saw the final outcome, but the kobolds were being slaughtered as the party retreated.

All the time, the giant cried out that it wanted its "pixie statue" returned. I assume this is one of the artifacts that must be returned to avoid a similar fate.

The giant carried a monstrous axe that blazed with flame, and left ash in its footsteps wherever it walked.

The formians that were part of the force were or more than one type as well:

- The weakest, or "drone" types had pale bodies and had little or no chitin armour protecting them. They move quickly but were easy to dispatch. - A red coloured creature, had much tougher armor and seemed difficult to hurt without enchanted weapons. These seemed to be the main warriors of the force. - Black armoured formians were very dangerous, and had the ability to stun and overwhelm the minds of those they face. The method of this ability is not known. - The last type seen had what was described as an "other wordly" body and were capable spellcasters and warriors. Thankfully, they were few in number.

This sheds some light on the capabilities and type of creatures we will face if they come against us. If the giant was able to best the shadow dragon, we are going to be hard pressed making a defense against it ourselves. The stationing of a strong animatron force at the Upper gates and about the Serena Tower should be a priority.

I will add more to the file as I learn more.

I am glad the Spellguard is viewing it necessary to cooperate. Like it or not our fates are linked. I encourage the Spellguard to once again begin renewing the enchantments of this cities equipment. The Council would look favorably upon the Spellguard should this action be taken, and may reciprocate in the spirit of cooperation.
