Word has reached me that Etorix and 'Z' have done battle over one of his artifacts, and that the demon wishes to seize it from the dragon at all costs. I understand your reticence about dealing with the serpent, but I ask you to consider the situation carefully. Sslal'teesh was nearly destroyed by the formians, and only by Etorix himself entering the fray was the Shadow Tribe spared severe losses.

I suspect that neither 'Z' nor Etorix wish to see the large-scale destruction that would result in a full siege of Sslal'teesh, and it is likely that they may attempt to strike some sort of deal to avoid a catastrophic battle. I do not know enough about Etorix's shrewdness to determine whether he'd empower an enemy so greatly for any price, but we must act now to secure partnership with the serpent, especially if there is a chance (however remote) that he would side with 'Z' to secure his position. I suggest sending him a message now that much depends on his actions in the coming weeks. If he wishes to continue his partnership with Sanctuary, he will not relinquish the artifact to 'Z' at all costs.
