I was fighting a Deep Malar Beast the other day. I downed a Blur potion very early in the fight. Only a few rounds went by and I downed a Serious Healing potion just to be on the safe side. As that potion took effect, my Blur disappeared. Not only visually, but in affect. Is this a bug, or do they have a chance to dispel on hit? If this is FOIG, disregard this question. They are pretty bad ass, after all.
Deep Malar Beast possible bug
Strangely enough, something similar happened to me before. A spider used his Web-attack on me, I drank a potion of Blur. The second the wep effect wore off, so did my Blur. UD: East, in case it holds any relevance I'm missing here.
It was UD: East. We may have found an issue...
P.S.--Frankie survived, regardless. So no worries about me whining about anything other than lost potions. :P
Don't know if it's related at all, but last week an invisibility potion wore off unexpectedly, after only about 2 rounds, resulting in a char death. It happened on the etter quest. There was nothing visual on the screen or in my logs that explained why my char dropped out of invisibility.

When you drink a potion of Invisibility does it last for a certain number of rounds every time or is there a roll that deterimes how long it will last?

A turn in ten rounds. A round is six seconds. *sagely nod*
There's certainly something wrong with that Ghostly Visage. I used an item which gave me blur but when a pig attacked me on that Duergar Farm quest , it wore off. It lasted total of one round, I'd say.
