I've addressed this message to both of you, as it is in regards to you both. I have been in contact with your Lieutenant, Valaron Sunellar, and he has directed me to you, with the understanding that you might be able to cater to my needs.

As you may, or may not, be aware. The Watch and School of War are conducting, in unison, a series of training programmes to educate the citizenry on defensive combat and invoke cooperation between the Watch and adventurers.

I seek your assistance and your knowledge of siege engineering, so that the citizens of Sanctuary might be schooled in the use of various siege weapons, so that they may, in turn, better defend the town in the upcoming attack, and all attacks in future.

My knowledge of siege engineering is rather limited, but I can look through what is written here at the Watch house and learn a thing or two. On the other hand, we have preciously few siege engines remaining functional, two at the gate between Lower and Upper and only one functional at the Outer gate.

I will send another letter with the notes, or meet you in person when I have learned the use of them. Whatever you prefer.

Keep up the good work, we are grateful that you help out with the training of citizens, especially at these times.
