A beaming Sparklegem, with wounds fresh from battle, gave a speech in the Town Hall. The crowd was enthusiastic, and a child stood on the podium during his speech. Afterwards, the speech was written up and posted at the Town Hall
Hello, my fellow Sanctuarians! Today is a proud day, and so I take this day to reiterate one of my campaign pledges- and a reason why you should vote for Sparklegem this election.
Today we fought, we bled, and we worked together to combat an overwhelmingly powerful enemy! Seekers, Watchmen, Adventurers. To defend our Sanctuary, we worked as one! And that is what we need. That is what Sanctuary needs, and that is why I'm fighting to be on your Council. We must encourage our heroes, my friends. We must encourage unity of spirit, unity of loyalty! Sanctuary was not formed from cowardice and hiding in the shadows. Sanctuary was formed by heroes.
By Frederick Bresley, who reminds us of the potential for Ascension! By Charles Bresley, who reminds us of the courage and strength we need to pull this town together!
We need our heroes, my friends and the Council- your Council- has forgotten them for too long.
We must encourage our heroes. We've seen, time and time again, that the brave and noble few who serve nobly for Sanctuary can make all the difference! I propose that the Council work to renew that spirit of heroism. The Coucil should give medals, honors, and even deeds of land to the most noble among us. To say, firmly, that heroism is not dead! That our unity is not dead! And that we will stand strong against any threat that comes our way. I've many other ideas, my friends. They're longwinded, they're deep, but they all come down to this. I want to honor our heroes. I want to honor you, and I want to see Sanctuary's heroes continue to shine like a beacon in this dark!
Thank you. I am Sparklegem, and I am a candidate for your Council. Good dark, and let's take the fight to those ants!
