Letter to Counsellors Crowshire and Fizzwiggle

Greetings from the Judge,

It is unclear to me whether or not the old council is still able to make decisions or if this power is now suspended until the new council is formed.

However, I will enquire with you in the hope that you can still provide aid. Veilguard Marcato and myself seek to take control of the Mausoleum and operate this facility in a manner befitting the dead of Sanctuary.

I need to know the steps that must be taken for this to become a reality. The Judge is angered by what he sees in the Mausoleum, and the sooner this can be rectified the better.

I can be reached at The Last Stand

Veilguard Dusk

I fear we have not been introduced. Perhaps you could state what would you exactly like to do about the crypts? The crypts will not be turned into private property of any sort, and as far as I know it already has a caretaker. Should we reconsider who is the caretaker, credential and more in depth introduction would be in order.

Councillor Wyric Crowshrire

Counsellor Crowshire,

The dead bodies lying about the Mausoleum in various states of rot would suggest the caretaker is not completing his job properly.

Signs of body theft for necromantic practices would seem to further prove that he no longer wishes the job.

If these two signs are not enough, then perhaps the sign posted in the Mausoleum stating that he wants to leave the job and that applications are being accepted would be proof enough.

The Veilguard serves the Judge of the Damned, controller of the Lists of the Dead, so we are indeed fit for this position. We have no intention of making the Mausoleum private property, but hope to run it in a proper manner befitting the dead. I am sure Veilguard Marcato and myself would be happy to meet with you to go over credentials.
