Marcus Kemp, School of War

Marcus,

I would like your training programs to begin within the next two days. Let me know what you require; my main concern is to enhance defensive techniques and Watch-citizen coordination in as short a time as possible.

-Lieutenant Sunellar

We haven't totally finished discussing the contents, however, they will be ready by the end of today. I'd like a siege expert of the Watch to attend, in order to properly explain the use of siege weapons, so it would be useful if some siege weapons were to be provided.

I will be focusing on that, and on cooperation and morale.

- Kemp

Marcus,

Privates Brinson and Methredel would likely be the best-suited to liase with you at present. We have a portable, compact siege weapon I can provide to them that can be set up at the Arena for impromptu practice.

I am expecting an attack upon the entire city, so anything you can do to generate some increased confidence and cooperation among our Watch and citizens is greatly welcomed. Let me know if you need anything else.

-Lieutenant Sunellar

Lieutenant,

I've contacted your Privates, and now await their replies. The following is a basic outline of what the seminar and practical training will include.

Defence Seminar & Practical Training

Seminar

1. Assault Reaction - The lead up to the assault.

2. Morale

3. Siege Weapon Operation - A hands on demonstration, by Privates in the Watch

4. Adventurers & their uses - Strike teams, and Objective holders.

Practical Training

An exercise that will put to use the information spoken about and taught in the seminar. One team will attack, the second will defend.

- Kemp

Marcus,

I am agreeable to this, and I can personally oversee it tomorrow or the next day to avoid you the trouble of more correspondence. Simply let me know a time when your staff is able to meet, and I will arrange the necessary equipment and permission.

-Lieutenant Sunellar
