Thoughts and a question

First off this server Rocks. It has to one of the best put together mods I have ever seen. The attention to detail especially on the realm side is amazing to say the least.

Now this question might be adderessed somwhere else( still reading page after page with days to go) but it deal with this thread https://efupw.com/efu1-forum/topic/21/21915/goblin-kobold-pvp-clarification/index.html If its open season on gobs and kobolds (within the rules) Does that go reverse for them? attack whenever they feel like it. Also is a favored enemy reason to outright attack?

thanks

For (engaging) Kobold/Goblins:

The streets of Lower are increasingly chaotic, and although we prefer every effort be made to find a DM before PvP occurs in this area if that is impossible it is generally acceptable to engage in PvP in the streets themselves. Areas such as inns, taverns, populated faction areas, etc. -must- have a DM present for any PvP.

Favorite Enemy isn't necessarily so much "your favorite enemy," it can also be seen as "enemy you know most about," such as their strengths and weaknesses. But yeah, any reason ranging from "It's a Goblin" to "He robbed my wife and killed my son" is an OK reason for you to attack them. Though it's only just PCs enjoying their characters. IPO, attacking each of them outright is acceptable, but a bit mehish.

No, no.

You cannot PvP in Lower at all, ever, without explicit confirmation that a DM is observing. This includes PvP against goblins/kobolds. We are cracking down on this!

As for PvPing goblins/kobolds themselves- one must remember that these races are vile, disgusting, evil creatures who breed rapidly and have had a somewhat tarnished history in Sanctuary. A legitimate reason to PvP kobolds/goblins is the fact that they are, indeed, kobolds/goblins.

Having said that though, do try and keep it tasteful. Running around and fragging goblins and kobolds for the sake of it or for personal kicks is not going to be favorably looked upon, and we will notice.

I guess in the end, a player must accept and indeed even expect attacks against their kobold/goblin PC before they even create. The entire point behind playing these races is that they're an immense challenge from the get-go. If you can't hack it, play a standard race.

Welcome to the server.

Caddies nailed it, always get a DM for PvP in Lower Sanctuary. Also, if your character hates goblins or kobolds, don't feel too sheepish about killing them. Players are well aware of the risks they take when playing monster PC's...

Caddies just has a soft spot for them ;)

Oh yeah, welcome! :D

Welcome to EfU! I am Halfbrood!

Welcome to EfU. You're never leaving, you know that, right?

Welcome to the server. To clarify, it is legit to FD goblins/kobolds for being goblns/kobolds but it is not really legit for goblins/kobolds to go around FD'ing other characters for no reason at all. It is not a griefer race. I understand this is a double-standard, but it's a deliberate one.

Of course, if someone attacks your goblin/kobold, they are well within their rights to respond FD or subdual.

Welcome to the Underdark.

Welcome to the server.

It pwns here.

Seriously. Like... mega pwnage.

And as for killing goblins/kobolds, I always like to contact the player first. I know this gives them an advantage OOC but it makes me feel better about killing someone's character because they are a certain race. I also tend to give them a chance to run away... for example...

*looks at the goblin with a look of loathing, sheathes his blade and unhooks a whip from his belt*

This is just my way of doing things though, I tend to be nice when it comes to PvP and stuff.

PlayerCharacter Welcome to EfU. You're never leaving, you know that, right?
