I thought this was part of the Fire Domain but apparently it is not. At the moment the Fire Domain gives the following to a Cleric:
The ability to turn elementals as if they were undead.
Wall of Fire as a 4th Level Spell
Energy Buffer as a 5th level Spell
Those are 'decent' spells, but hold little RP value. I'm playing a Cleric of Kossuth and I wanted to set people on fire, but was disappointed to notice I do not have the ability. I can't even cast Wall of Fire until 7th level.
So I am suggesting Combust be added to the Fire Domain as a 2nd or 3rd Level Spell. That way when someone tries to mock Hoaradin by noting the absence of fire he can show them.

I think giving clerics combust would make them even more powerful than they are now, it's a pretty strong spell.

I like the idea of combust being in that domain, but I agree that clerics are majorly strong already that might end up being an overdominant force.

Perhaps add flare, flaming hands, and cumbust, but add a Cold vulnerability?

Clerics of particular deities (Like Kossuth) with terrible domains that are well played will receive rewards for doing so. For now we will not be changing the hardcoded domains, as I'm not even sure that's possible.

Summoning Fire elementals is pretty hawt.
- do it, and have them burn your guy.

Fire is a default Bioware domain that can not be adjusted. Well RP'ed clerics of Kossuth have been given combust 1/day items in the past, however.

Oh well, hopefully Hoaradin can earn one of those. :P
...and thanks for the badass idea Mort. I'm totally stealing it.
Can fire elementals talk? They are humanoid in shape and appearance, but I am not sure if their sentience is equal to a zombie or not.

I have personally had fire elementals talk to me, as just about everyone in the "Highlander" project has. Not to mention the final battle between my and Obedience's char, which was witnessed by many. They were Elemental Lords, though... :?

They speak Ignan, and only rarely. But that's in PnP!

In canon, elementals of medium size or smaller have an Intelligence score of little more than animals (Int 4), and upwards from there it's not more than Int 6, even for elder elementals. As was mentioned, they can only speak Ignan and rarely choose to do so. I suppose the elemental lords would be an exception, but hey, they're greater deities anyways.
EfU could of course have house rules in regards to any of this.

Well the lowest level Summoned Fire Elementals have 4 Intelligence. Therefore, I would say that they probably can't speak but can follow and understand basic instructions - guard here, attack this, stop, follow, etc. In practice they would be somewhat like an intelligent zombie... but on fire... and not undead.
It is completely badass to summon a fire elemental and have it follow you around. They've found themselves a permanent place in my spell line up, super thanks to Mort for the suggestion.

We've moved onto a tangent.
Back to the topic, I believe the question has been addressed. Clerics are already quite powerful without an added offensive output boost, and for wel RPed clerics there are always opportunities to acquire specially themed loot (If not characters of all sorts).
