[A letter to Winston at the Beacon] [DM]

The following is written in a sloppy, poorly composed script on what appears to be the pulp paper that is sold in the Mycopolis.

Winston,

I, Roshnak, shall tend to your children. I am a skilled huntsman and teacher, and your brood will be well protected in my care.

I can teach them to grow strong and fierce, and to defend themselves well against the predators in Upper.

To demonstrate my qualifications, I have included dinner for your pups.

ROSHNAK Included with the letter is a box containing half a dozen dead sewer rats. Most have been nibbled on a bit, and their blood stains the paper from time to time.

Winston,

Long have I waited to hear your wisdom. I will guard your flock, and ensure that the wolves above do not harm them.

You can count on me to teach your young the will to survive and the meaning of strength. It would do much to build a happy relationship between Lower and the Mycopolis. ROSHNAK
