Included is a simple plan of the device I would like to create. This device is a gift for the Arch Druidess of the Dark Lake. I'm not sure if you are a member of any organisations here in town, and I'm not sure how you feel about the denizens of Mycopolis, but know that it is going to be a gift for one of their number. I'm trying to show them at least one example of mechanical devices that are not harmful.
As you can see on the plan, the mechanisms will be fitted into the underside of the lid of a simple medicine chest. This is done because the arch druidess carries many herbs around and, therefore, the device will also serve as a storage chest for her healing herbs.
If you choose to help me in its creation, your task will be to sing me a song of your choosing several times over as I plot the sound pattern and try to replicate the melody using the machine's own instrument.
The work should take several hours and I'll pay you in gold or with items for your trouble.
