A World Trouble-Free
This world could be so trouble-free
If we keep rules easy to see
We all would be healthy and smart
If we listen to wisdom with our heart
But we must be taught to freely give
To share this world in which we live
listen to words from those who know
Or we will sink far too low
We need to return to the golden rule
These are things that we should learn in school
There could be so much done today
If people wouldn’t go astray
And use their money with good sense
To build a bridge and not a fence
To use their time and give it freely
For those of us who are most needy
To live with hope and not in fear
And keep your loved ones very near
If all of us could only see
The world could be so trouble free
Yes, I wrote this myself.

And then bragged about it to your buddies in the showers, whilst simultaneously snapping each other's jockstraps and placing hand to pert buttocks?

I think that it's heartfelt and just a little quaint. Thanks for sharing.

Dr Dragon
That poem sucked!
A.) Write something you think is better, it is easy to flame someone else's work.
B.) He had the guts to post it, do you?
c.) Think before you act.
Let's see more Thomas!

Was that meant to be a joke, Dr D? If so, I don't get it.
Kudos as well, Thomas.

The off-topic forums are being restored to the balance. Perhaps that's why you chose to put the poem in green? Regardless, thank you Thomas.

I like it, Thomas.
Please show a little more care in all your future posts, please.
I really do like it.
[edit] Dr. Dragon needs to learn the old saying: "Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."
Also, keep it up Thomas! I truly enjoyed it. I really, really did.

Glad you enjoyed it
And Dr.D, can you tell me why it sucked? Contructive critism would be nice.

Please. Is it because I rap about reality, like me and my grandma having a cup of tea? There ain't no party like my grandma's tea party. Hi- ho
