An Open Letter to the Beacon [DM or PC]

A crisp piece of vellum is handed to an officiate of the Beacon by a friendly looking man in Gold and Pink with the implicit instructions to give it to someone in authority there at their next convenience

Dear Management and Staff of the Beacon,

Perhaps you have seen me volunteering on occasion at the Beacon with the feeding of the poor, etc.

I sincerely admire the work that you do and would like to offer my services on a more permanent basis. Being a Dawnblade Hopeful in Lathander's service before my descent into the Underdark, I am skilled in both healing and warfare and would like to aid the Beacon in whatever way I can.

Additionally, I can assist with guarding the Beacon against any miscreants who would seek to take advantage of the poor who seek sanctuary there or do the Beacon harm in general.

I have recently come into some currency from my adventures which I would like to make a gift of to you. I would however, like to be involved in discussing how it could be spent to improve the Beacon. I have some humble ideas I would like to put forth concerning this.

Finally, I would humbly offer myself as a canddate in assisting with the management and maintainence of the Beacon.

Awaiting your reply with eager anticipation,

Flynt Dawnson

I will call in at the Beacon again soon, so word can be left for me with one of the guards there

A very pale looking Cort Jorino delivers a reply letter to one of Frankie's Angels guarding the main room with instructions for it to be given to one named Flynt. It is addressed to Flynt Dawson and written in a neat, legible hand.

Dawnblade Hopeful Dawson,

It is a relief to hear from another faithful to the Morninglord. I thank you for your past kindnesses here at the Beacon. Compassion is powerful enough to bring about a new dawn in the hearts of the hopeless.

Your service and your aid would be most welcome here. I have need of selfless caretakers to help in taking care of our residents. Please stop by again soon so that we might speak.

May the Lord of the Dawn shelter you with His radiance until then,

Cort Jorino Beacon Keeper

Dear Beacon Keeper Jorino,

Please note, I write this missive in much haste. My sincere apologies I have not called by the Beacon in the last few days. I will endevour to get there as soon as I am able, when my other responsibilities allow me to.

With Kind Regards,

Flynt Dawnson

Dawnblade Hopeful Dawnson,

No apologies are necessary. In an environment as volatile as this, I'm overjoyed that you wrote to we at the Beacon at all. Return when you can and I look forward to meeting you in person.

Lathandar's grace protect and keep you,

Cort Jorino Beacon Keeper
