Han's Black Book

[Hans sits at his desk within the barrack of Vile Industries, he dips a quill to ink and begins to write]

Kythorn 20th 1374 DR

It is obvious in which I write within this book, such my study requires it and I must put down all useful information within this book.

I start by saying I have recently come into the employ of Dr. Vile of Vile Industries, he has given me food, gold and a place to sleep - not to mention this desk in which I write at.

I have helped him employ a bodyguard for his business a one-eyed woman known as Vy, her full name long forgotten to me as such things are useless to me. He has another in his employ a large drunkard woman whose name I did not bother to remember.

My studies are currently at a stand-still due to me mainly, I must focus and pay attention to what is important. My creations are weak and stupid, I must know how to make them stronger and smarter.

I have made no enemies within this town yet but few friends either. I like it this way it allows me to walk wherever in this large town freely. [Hans blows on the page drying the ink before closing his book]

Flamerule 29th

Back in town with a head full of new things to come, this will be good for me oh so good.

Just as long as Dr Vile his most esteemed allows me back in his employ, the Watch have long forgotten the minor incident in Lower...or at least I hope so

Date : Unknown

This is the second time I have stumbled upon Sanctuary again, I leave the town yet am always drawn back...there is something here that I must discover, what I am not entirely sure.

I have tasted the wrath of undead, a job bounded with other men of lower to take out a crypt, I of course was going to come along.

There I battled a fearsome Dark Knight and he fell me, I remember blacking out than waking up within the crypt, to only see empty rooms, my items gone, my strength drained.

It may of been a punishment, I have not been studying of late and have made few prayers to my deity.

Big things are to happen in Lower...with me at their head. Big things indeed.

[Hans blows the page dry, slips the book into his backpack and bids Thomas goodnight]
