Actually, alstromeria is sort of right. Let it soak in pee, which is highly aggresive to odors and stains, and it preserves the meat as well with it's salt. Wash it in water afterwards and cook it - Voilà, Steak Royale!

You can RP harvesting meat, but having everything drop meat would (I suspect) either cause an implausible amount of meat litered around the Underdark or become too profitable for PCs in selling it to NPCs.
