Councilor,
The recent statements made to us by your fellow Councilors are quite discouraging to those of us here in New Dunwarren. I have accepted the position of Warden at the urging of Holy Stanislaw Lem, and will be working to fulfill this duty with all of my being.
Justiciar Haldor Longhand has been named Arbitrator of New Dunwarren, and will be the primary voice of our community. All formal discussion between our two settlements will be carried out by the Arbitrator.
However, I would speak to you without fanfare as men, and give you the chance to explain the further unfriendly actions alleged to be imminent by your fellow Councilors.
