Here's the thing about that bug. It costed me a load of gold to find out, but the results are amazing! 8) If you click a gold amount on a SITTING PC, there is a reasonable chance it vanishes into nothing. If your character has to walk a certain distance after clicking the gold on someone, its almost certain to vanish.

I hope it helps you people, I'm pretty sure it's unfixable, just a reminder.

The sitting down thing is where you accedentally gave the gold to the seat instead of the person. (Yes you can lose gold to inanimate objects.)

That's why I always prefer to barter by just dropping stuff down at peoples feet for them to pick up. Too bad no one bothers looking down :)

Barter window works every time. Drop trades are not recommended due to OOC thieves, crashes, lag etc. Use the barter window.
