This deadlock has gone quite a long time with little progress, there is not even clarity who is the who leads the talks on your side. I propose you name your official representatives and we shall have a meeting in order to make at least some progress on issues we have.

Justiciar Haldor Longhand is the Arbitrator of New Dunwarren. He will be the primary representative charged with dealing with representatives from other settlements such as your own. If you are unable to contact him, I myself will stand in temporarily in order to facilitate open discussion.

As the newly named Warden of New Dunwarren, it is my duty to defend our citizens and our homes from potential threats or invaders. Removing the possibly hostile armed forces who have have effectively blockaded our only border would be an appropriate gesture of goodwill if you wish to initiate friendly relations.

Failure to do so will send a stronger message to us than even your most eloquent words, and will be met with an appropriate, non-violent response to an unfriendly neighboring settlement.

I sincerely hope that this will prove unnecessary, and personally will be willing to do what must be done to re-establish cooperation between our two peoples amongst the darkness that surrounds us all.
