A tall blonde human boy in his teens is seen leaving this letter with one of the dwarven guards
Greetings dwarves, I am Richard Torin'Stre, son of John Torin'Stre. I would like to ask if I may use some of your space for the sercurity of Sanctuary. In more detail I have come up with a plan to make dogs from deep hounds and I need a place to keep these deep hounds untill their breeding produces dogs, or deep muts. I can explain how this works in more detail if you like later. These dogs will be of use in to the town because they will have hightend sences of smelling, and even hearing to challange that of an elf, so they would work as an early warning system for approaching enimies. They are also faster then any humanoid, there are several uses for that. Dogs are very loyal to their care taker and only require food and shelter for thier labour. If you would agree to help me in this task I would be more then happy to give you your choice of dogs, if this plan is succesful. I ask you for this because there is no other place to keep deep hounds in a secure location that is also not in the middle of upper. I would however warn you that wild deep hounds are very dangerous and it would take at least one generation of deep hounds breed in captivity to make them loyal to any humanoid, so if you deny my request for safety reasons I understand. I have also brought this idea before Wyric Crowshire, and he recomended you. If you want you can ask him about this plan. Please do respond as soon as you can, if you want more information I will write back, or talk to one of you personaly. I am usally found at the stand, I'de be the tall human in brown.

Hail Richard master of hounds,
your proposal is interesting however it must be discused amongst the clan before we can give you permission to kennel your hounds beneath Bark-Tor.
There are a few questions though I would like addressed satisfactorally before I put this to the clan:
1- I do sincerly hope you are going to maintain an impeccable level of hygene in the kennel. If we start to smell the merest whiff of a build of up hound shyte wafting up from the lower chambers, then you & your pack will be out.
2- noise levels - I do understand that hounds bay and bark a lot yet we also require peace & quiet for religeous purposes and of course, to rest. The last thing we want to endure is to listen to a pack of whining hounds that carry on for gods know how many hours. The chosen are already bad enough.
3- If we do agree to let you & your hounds in, then you will also be responsible for contributing to the upkeep & defense of Barak-Tor. There will be no free ride here.
If you can address those immediate issues then I will submit your proposal to the clan.

Porki Thule,
1) Hygene, is indeed the biggest consern, I do not know enough of the lay out of Barak-Tor to give a 100% confident answer about this but here it goes. If the area of your choising has a moderately clean water supply and there is a dumbing zone, say one of those trash cans that are seen through out Sanctuary even, then hygene will probably be no problem, aside from any one entering if they come in contact with dogs and will then be coverd in fur, but I can show you how to clean fur off easy. For a clean envoironment the dumbing zone would be best near the hounds kennel so waste would not be dragged through Barak-Tor.
2) Noise levels are incredibly easy to take care of, any thing from padding the walls and/or door with leather or cloth, to a silencing spell on the entrance, both of which are easy to come by.
3) I did not expect a free ride, I am curios as to how much of the upkeep and defense of Barak-Tor you wish me to pay for though. I will probably be able to comply however.
And on a side note, dogs breed quickly compaired to dwarves or humans, from conseption to birth for a dog of any breed takes 9 weeks, so the hounds wont be there for too long. I just need to keep them in a safe location untill the next generation is born.
Hoping this responce find you in good health,
Richard Torin'Stre.

Porki Thule,
I was wondering if my last letter got to you. I have not heard a responce yet, and its really would be great to hear back. Mostly because if you want me to give you a deffinent answer about paying upkeep for Barak-Tor I should know how much. If the clan has not yet desided that is fine, I can wait. But I do need to know if it is being considered or not. If the last letter was lost or stolen, or what ever I'de be glad to send you a copy, or copys if you want multiple letters.
Hoping this finds you in good health,
Richard Torin'Stre.

[the same human as before leaves a letter with the dwarven guard out side Barak-Tor]
To any elders of Clan Stoutheart,
I have sent a few letters to Porki Thule, and I am wondering if those letters were missplaced, as I have not yet heard back from him. Has Mr. Thule gone on a mission requiring him to be gone for a few weeks? If so, then please write back to me telling me when he will be back, this is important.
Hoping this finds you in good health,
Richard Torin'Stre

//Okay, so I have yet to get ANY responce (not even a message involving terrible things happening to my letters), could somebody please clear this up? Is it for an OOC reason that no responce has been sent, or an IG reason?//
