Scroll left at the Watch House

A crumpled scroll arrives on the steps of the watch house, tied up with a thin vine.

Watchmen of Sanctuary,

As you likely know, due to the violence brought to our lands all watchmen have been barred from Mycopolis.

We are a land where the tired and hungry can find peace and food. We have created harmony in a place of chaos and disorder. You can understand our displeasure in your bringing a large, violent battle to our lands.

Mycopolis exists for the peace and benefit of all creatures of the Underdark. Already we have purified the water which flows into our canal and into the lands of Lower. We have provided food for the starving.

For those who choose not to join us in our Utopia, we ask only to be left in peace. Mycopolis is our land, and due to your uncaring rampage, watchmen will not be allowed to walk our paths.

However, if you wish to make amends and reclaim some measure of honor, seek me out and we can exchange words.

Alum Fensbane,

I will speak to you regarding recent events. Come to the Watch House and perhaps we can handle the situation in a civil manor.

Private Dedrick

A timid rat approaches the watch house, dropping off a small scrap of paper.

Watchman Dedrick -

If you wish to make reparations and regain honor for your Watch, then you will seek me out and I will listen to your offer. We are the wronged party, and I have little desire to sit within the confines of your building awaiting you.

I will waste no more paper on this subject.
