Faction Mottos: The Tigereye Mercenary Company

Same deal, a motto for the Tigereye Mercenary Company this time.

If it helps, here is their publicly posted charter:

Tigereye Mercenary Company Charter:

(1) All members shall be provided with arms and armor with which to fight. (2) All members shall be provided with sufficient food when they hunger and sufficient drink when they wish to get drunk. (3) All members shall obey any order or command from their superior officer. (4) No member shall ever leave another behind on the field of battle.

The company has come into rough times (guarding a bunch of ex-slaves isn't a particularly glamorous contract), but prides itself on its shrewdness in the battle-field, brotherly spirit, and sense of tradition.

"Blades drawn, eyes open; heads up. Eat each meal as if it your last, drink with celebration, never in moderation. Follow the lead, never ever hesitate. To waver is to crumble; to crumble is to die. Swallow your indecisions along with your pride. Cover those who fall even if no shield is about. Tradition and oath will hold you together. Stand firm with your brothers, do not walk alone. Draw from his strengths as you add support for his weakness. Swing wild but strike true. Never fall back unless ordered to do so. Tradition is everything. If your blade breaks, swing the hilt. If the quiver runs dry throw it back at your foe. Have heart and stand firm in the eyes of our enemy, and tommorrow is new but not unfamiliar."

Brotherhood and Victory

While a bit long for a motto, Duffmans should certainly be somewhere. Perhaps an initiation speech or something...because damn, that is so cool.

Thats a really long but cool motto. Try something a little shorter.

"When it absolutely has to be drunk overnight."

"Even Drow Bleed."

"Hack them Down."

OMGbearisdriving

"Even Drow Bleed."

^ Very cool

"Orange and Black lead to black and blue"

"Live by the coin, die by the sword."

Shamelessly stolen and modified from the Irish blessing:

"A quick death and a violent one, a good wench and a pretty one, a strong ale and another one!"

Or something to that effect, adjectives are malleable.

There's another line in the original, "A long life and a merry one," which just doesn't seem to fit.

"The Amber Eye in Dusk, Unwinking"

Scarrow "The Amber Eye in Dusk, Unwinking"

Fabulous.

"Sharp eye, sharp claw" "Alley cats" "Aint no way ta skin this cat" "Curiosity payed the tab"

"Watch your brothers back and he'll watch yours!"

"Brotherhood Until Death"

"Victory or Death"

I know you know what that's from.

"Together we stand, Together we fall."

"Unity for the Free"

A power ignorant of defeat.

"We are the best on what we do!"

"United we stand under Brotherhood." "Leave none but the enemy corpse behind."

The US army recruitment motto. . . "First to contact, first to contract."

"Be the best."

"Never alone."

"Pride, Teamwork and Tradition."

"Give war a chance."

"First show them the blade, then send in the diplomats."

"We hope we win."

"Last Ones Standing"

"For Gold and Glory"

"The Hunt is on"

"First in, last out"

" We're here because the Watch is incompetent. "

" We're here for the money, we'll stay for the money. "

" We're here because we're the best at what we do: killing stuff. "

Due to some interesting things that happened last night, I think this would be a bit more appropriate than Brea's first one...

"Cause we don't run from nobody... 'cept for them damn guards. I hate them feckers."

BTW, I'm loving all the conflict between you guys!

I like Sassy's Irish blessing a lot.

Die as men, or live as cowards.

We kick names and take ass.
