Hey all.
This might be a long shot, but is there any chance you could get a Dye added to Blazon Tailoring, or give me a chance to roleplay a conversation asking the merchant in there (his name evades me at the moment) to specially get one for me?
I'm after Dark Red Metal Dye, but all there is in there at the moment is Blood Stain, which frankly doesn't make much difference to the colour, and Light Red, which makes my dwarf look like a deformed salmon.
I'm after the Dye because that certain character of mine has just joined a PC Faction which has a uniform, or to phrase it another way, it's own colours.
Thanks for any help.
Emrys.

Less common dyes can be found in game by other means.

I met up with a few, but in tells they said they didn't know where to get the right dye because the armor was from the prelude.
So, there I was kinda stumped.
Well, I've done my best for now, without the right color metal dye.
Better than nothing, I suppose.

I could be mistaken, but I believe there are NPCs you can go to who will make an appearance identical suit of armor to what you're wearing. So presumably you could just go with the armor you're wearing, borrow it to wear, and pay for a new set. Of course, it is a little expensive... and I could be wrong about those NPCs still being in the mod, I've been out for a while.

Those NPCs are still there, although being rather new myself I have only found a clothing vendor and a leather vendor....no metal vendor. But I'm still lookin'.

There are things you haven't dreamt about out there. Keep looking.

Exploration for the sake of exploration results in you finding incredibly cool and awesome parts of the server that other people hardly ever get to see! It's definately worth the time taken.

I can see why it might be fun, but I don't have a scout type character.
I don't know where to start with a scout, I might have to work on it.
But, I'll have to wait until my main dies or something, because he has priority at the moment.

Sorry about dredging up a somewhat old post, but even if you don't have a scout, you can still do some exploring, you just have to have enough friends with you to take care of whatever gets in your way.
No promises of course. Some people will demand compensation up front, but others will be lured with the potential for some XP. I think you'll probably find a lot of people like yourself; they just want to see the rest of the server for themselves.

Way off-topic: Exploration is the shit. By all means get a group together and go see the server. There is a LOT out there!
P.S.-There is a lot of exploration XP to be had, as well.

Plus for a known fact if you explore extensively enough I know there is at least one metal worker who can copy designs in underdark. Not sure if there are more.
