Could someone point me out to any information about those subraces? I have read they are available to apply for, but found nothing else on this subject...
Goblin and kobold subraces
The Races of Faerûn sourcebook has some information on goblins and goblinoids in general, but as for kobolds -- I wouldn't know, beyond what the Monster Manual says. As a player race, it must be detailed in some more uncommon sourcebook.
I am afraid I didn't get past the Monster Manual information. Most of what I know I took from non-canon things, in particular the First Chapter of Shadows of Undrentide, with examing their behaviour. But with a bit of fantasy you'll get plenty far.
(This is for Kobolds, of course. Races of Faerûn depicts Goblinoids in-depth)
I'd like to see all their abilities and skills that come with the race also. Just out of interest. Anyone knows these?
They have the ability to.....well be weak! (pc ones at least) I'm pretty sure there stats are all negative bar the normal things they get from being small which gnomes and halfling also get.
Actually goblins make for -very- good rogues. Look in the 3.5 DMG. It has all of their stats. Maybe the DMs would be so kind to put these subraces on the website? (Or have the website-ers do that.)
I'm sure Colin is on to it or something, since he got a new comp now. He said it will take a while for website to update, but it's still coming.
Top of my head how it works in Efu for Kobolds.
Kobold: Halfling base race. Taken from the Halfling base race are 2 Strength, 2 Constitution. You will get -1 on your saving throws, to negate the Halfling 'Lucky' Feat. You remain to have the Lucky Aim and Small Size feats.Favoured Class: Rogue.
Don't you mean -2(which totals to -4 if you count halflings -2) -2 con and +2 dex? or do they lose the dex also?
Savage Species sourcebook might very well contain information on playing kobolds.
Naga Don't you mean -2(which totals to -4 if you count halflings -2) -2 con and +2 dex? or do they lose the dex also?I mean exactly what I said.
If you take the Halfling race, take -2 Strength and -2 Constitution.
Meltdown Savage Species sourcebook might very well contain information on playing kobolds.Could anyone tell me at what 'shop' to get that? [winks secretly] I could use it greatly.
I think there's a new book out called Races of the Dragon or something, like it that has lots of kobold info.
outcrowd1 I think there's a new book out called Races of the Dragon or something, like it that has lots of kobold info.If you mean Draconomicon, that's a negative. Only information on pure Dragons, half-Dragons and everything closely related to it. No Kobolds.
They (kobolds) also get the bonus feat dodge if I am not mistaken.

tib They (kobolds) also get the bonus feat dodge if I am not mistaken.By the way, I have been told about this by the DM's, but I don't notice the Dodge feat. I think it's +1 AC Dodge, so forgive me tib, for spreading the wrong information.
