In the same vein, it needs to be reiterated that transition abuse in PvP is absolutely forbidden. What is transition abuse?
Transition abuse entails:
- Double or triple clicking a transition to escape from someone or something that is pursuing you. For example, player A is chasing player B. Player B goes into a transition, and once they load the new area, they immediately click the same transition again so that Player A has no chance to see them.
- Using a transition to your OOC advantage. Running through a transition you know is OOCly forbidden for others to go through, healing and buffing quickly, then returning to the fight. Repeatedly doing this.
- Abusing the fact that many transitions are more than just a click. Long staircases, tunnels, ropes, lifts, ladders. They all involve the character doing more than just entering the next area immediately. For example, if you attack someone then use a ladder to escape them into the next area more than once, you're metagaming the fact your PC had to -actually climb- the ladder (IE- stop, put away weapons/shield, clamber up while being attacked easily, etc.). I don't want to spend half an hour writing examples. Its basic.
Those are the rules. They're been made extremely clear in the past, and now made clear yet again. Please do not break them, it makes us cranky and it causes -lots- of problems for everyone involved. You're all cooler than that.
