To whom it may concern,
My name is Cassey Stormshadow and I am a Private with the Sanctuary Watch. I have a few concerns regarding the safety and wellbeing of Sanctuary and its people. This letter is mostly addressed to the Council, though I have sent a copy to Sheriff Azzam. I would just like to address a few concerns regarding Sanctuary and its wellbeing.
Firstly, the gates. The Upper front gate is well protected and defended, with a number of Watchmen and weaponry stationed there. This is all well and good, but what about the gate behind it? It is just kept locked and unmanned. An attacking force could break it down and be inside Sanctuary in seconds. I am aware of the metal shortage, but surely we could afford to position a lookout here, at least?
That brings me onto my second point, the metal shortage. What is being done about this matter? I understand that the current Council hasn't been in power for long, but surely this is a matter which requires immediate attention? Have explorers been sent out with Council blessing?
My third question is, what are your plans for Lower? Surely it can't just be left as-is? The gangs are running riot, the people are confused and scared, some glad that there is no one to prevent them from murdering and stealing all they want, some angry that Upper has "abandoned" them.
