The Ledskir Crew may be just the sort of character you're lookng for.

The Ledskir Crew are the guys who are running lower at the moment. And Anyone else who says otherwise gets their knee's broken. Hated by The Beacon, The temple of Hoar, and the entire population of the Mycopolis. Feared by everyone else.

To join the Ledskir Crew is to open yourself up to a world of loan sharks, protection money and gentlemen thuggery at it's finest. Besides a gratis outfit of Of Chain, Leather or Cloth depending on your class (in very unique colours). Other fringe benefits include our base in the form of the Gambling Hall. Permanent Storage. And good old fashioned Gangster community spirit.

With enough effort there is nothing stopping The Ledskir Crew from getting their hands into every aspect of life. Joining the crew gives you many varied options on what you can do with a member of the gang. Here are some suggestions, but of course your imagination is the limit:

• Be a thug and beat people up
• Do the talking, convince people to take loans they probably don't need. After all, We're here to help you get that stupidly expensive Fullplate.
• PR. being such a successful "completely legitimate business" means we have lots of people trying to make us look bad.
• Make Money. This is really what the Ledskirs is all about. Run betting rings, rip people off, rig fights, promote rat races, the sky (Or at least the roof of the cave) is the limit!

As I said. These are just SOME ideas off the top of my head. Be powerful, be feared, be respected. And don't take crap from anyone. Do you know who I'm with? DO YOU KNOW WHO I'M WITH?

So in closing. Are you bored with being an honourable knight? Do you want so see life on the rough side? Do you want to be a total bastard to people? And get away with it?

Not being in the ledskir crew but being in a gang with similar views as the crew...

I can say that being a gangster is one of the more enjoyable professions on EFU and I would encourage anyone to become one :D

Seeing as everyone's slaughtered, and Ledskir doesn't have that sexy allure of the power of the spellguard or the Dickery of the watch, (I kid, nothing but <3) I thought I'd throw in a bump here to draw in folks.

Also, to address a group of common misconceptions. There is a very large PC view of "I am not going to make a ledskir, He's gonna just die soon" when I speak with people IC and OOC about joining up. I don't know where you get these rumors, but it is quite grossly...well, gross.

Its a DM faction just like any other. Yeah, a lot of folks hate us, but there is still a lot of shit we can do even with the proverbial Axe over our head (Even though there isn't).

Also, to address the issue of this misconception "Short-lived-ledskir-characters", You are around as long as you want. Like all crime, if you're smart and can play it suave, you'll be around a lot longer. If you do chose to play a guy who ends up being short lived, I assure you, it is a lot of fun.

Just because its the "Cool new in thing" to hate on Ledskir, doesn't mean it won't be fun to join up :D

Like all Factions, We at Ledskir Corp welcome all evil with open arms as long as you A) Know how to keep in line/show respect, B) Know how to make money, C) Rock at that dirty old whore RP.

Last but not least, one final misconception: Not all ledskirs have to be burly ass-kicker Gang bangers who slaughter upperfolk on sight. Though its always welcomed to have meat-shields to hide behind, and it adds a lot of conflict internally to be the former style character, Ledskir is a business. We're here to make money.

Also, more than happy to help with concepts and any applications.(Yes, this is a DM faction, With storage, and perks, you -will- have to apply) Myself or any other ex-ledskir I'm sure would be more than happy to help you out with the application. Just flag me down on IRC (RwG) or throw me a PM.

If you want to be well feared, respected, and admired as a villain of the server, it would be in your best interests to get an in with this crew. Damn if the overwhelming majority of Ledskir players aren't some of the best player teams I've seen in ages. They present a real challenge to somebody like me who's more often than not on the Go Go Good Team. If you're doubtful, think again, and again, until you decide to join.

While I support this post completely, to say a lot of people don't want to be Ledskirs is just wrong. I've seen far more new Ledskirs in the past month than any other faction. Far more.

Of course, all the more reason to join, I suppose! :)

Oh, I'm aware pup, just trying to put some rumors to bed. A few folks had concerns of each of those natures so I'd figure put in my two cents.

YES! This is all true!

Think of the Ledskir's like the 1950's mafia. 99% of any beatings and killings happen behind closed doors. Not walking round the streets bullying people. There are more ways to make people fear you than the ability to break their face.

One of the reasons that some of the Ledskirs were so short lived is because they beat up and bullied the entire population of lower, and anyone from upper who dared come down. In the end it's a loanshark gang, not an army.

Scare Ray of Enfeeblement Balagorns Iron Horn (sp?)

He's basically spooky, being a necromancer and all.

He could use/make undead soldiers from dead people, ex-Ledskir or not. With those you could do all sorts of insane stuff. So yah, he can make you cash.

Aye, that'd be awesome.

Need quite a bit of DM help to do that though, as he be only lvl 4 at the moment.
