Hey!
I was wondering, if one were to have a past background as a skilled cook or chef, or continues to do as such, what skill would reside over that? What, Perform? :?
Thanks! ~Ace

Hmm, "Craft food item"? :P
I would think perform or craft item.
If you're a Bard, I guess if it came up it would be Perform (Beni-Hanna's, where the dinner is a show!). Lore could also be a good investment, and a decent translation of the Profession (___) skill.
You might be asked to make any kind of check by a DM, though, if they want you to prove your culinary expertise. DEX to avoid catching your sleeve on fire, STR to cut through some particularly thick steak, WIS to add just the right amount of spice without measuring tools, or CON to prevent crying while chopping onions. You might not know until it happens! People who want to be experts in things not supported by NWN's skills can have an uncertain, but exciting, life.

Ah, AScottBay, your knowledge of stats is incredible!
I am planning to make a Wizard whom was/and is a chef. I figured Perform as in perform an art, and cooking, in a way, is an art (culinary arts).
Thank you so much! ~Ace
I would say perform, in the case of high chefery.
Concur. It is an art!
