Was there an item added in a local merchant inventory with the persistent haste property?

An item only with the positive property of Haste is 6503. At least.

In addition, the shops seem to have 20-40% percent increase whenever they sell. Unless everyone pairs up to buy the cloak, and share it every few days, it won't be common.

It was changed to be -2 CHA +3 AE, look at the rat store.

A permanent haste item will never exist in EFU.

When I add those items, I don't add them exactly as specified. I took the description, modified it a little and added my own personal properties to it. It will be rare for a submitted item in that suggestions thread to be mirrored exactly by the merchant.

In that case, the item was clearly overpowered so I toned it down.

On the bright side, Witless Entertainment quit.

I believe you're fogetting that people would walk around with lots of heavy rocks so they can get an extra attack and some AC.

Haste is a powerful spell. My mage takes some hastes now instead of just all scint spheres. Helps when you have a few fighters and he gets surrounded.

I like slow better.
