Letter to Sachrissa

Fellow councilor,

It is with sadness I must inform you that your friend, Niles the half-orc, fell in a fierce battle with a giant. He came into Upper asking for assistance, as a man was under attack by creatures in the mines. Niles was able to get help and quickly led us to the mines, a giant Umberhulk attacking us at the entrance. We wandered deeper and found the man Niles had told us about lying on the floor, unconcious. A fight broke out with some orogs deeper inside, which others and I took part of, and the mentioned giant came to the orogs aid, seemingly out of nowhere. When we returned, Niles was lying on the floor motionless, and no attempt at awakening him worked. I believe that he defended those who did not join the battle with the orogs, and he died with the weapon in hand as a true warrior.

I took care of what equipment he had. Should you wish it, please leave a note or find me.

Andrik Krown

Councillor Andrik Krown,

Thank you for informing me of Niles' end; at least it was a good one considering what could have befallen him. I will try to meet with you as soon as possible to see that his equipment is stored safely- I assume his body has been laid to rest in the Mausoleum?

Councillor Sachrissa Elaueth.
