A letter with the name Hafur, Barak-Tor on it has been pushed under the door at Barak Tor. It reads:

Thankyou for the compliment, but I can guarantee there are many others who are well informed in this dread place - manifold are the comings and goings in Sanctuary, I'm sure you will agree.

I do hope the book I recommended you read is of assistance to you. I apologise for not giving you the text to loan for your studies. At present we have only one copy of the text; but I'm sure the Library will, in future, be making multiple copies of all its volumes available to Sancturarians who wish to borrow or buy books.

I can suggest you contact Mr. Varlam Nikitovich, the Acting Curator at the Library - he is a longtime scholarly resident of Sanctuary who may be able to assist you. Write to Mr. Nikitovich care of the Library.
