I wish to know if your number would be willing to devise and implement two or three training sessions for the Watch and any interested citizens concerning gate defense. If you are amenable, please formulate a rough sketch of the agenda you would like to construct in regards to the Upper Gate.

The School is a place where these types of matters are discussed and practiced everyday. While our staff does not have in their number any gate captains of vast experience, its our humble opinion that we still have much that might be passed on regarding gate defense.

I would prefer we speak in person, but the basic agenda I had in mind was an interactive discussion at the School (covering basic concepts, such as how to use siege equipment to best effect, drawing techniques, when to embark on sullies, broader gate defense objectives, keeping morale up, etc) before heading to the gate itself and running an actual exercise in which one team would attempt a mock assault and another, comprised of your Watchmen, would seek to defend against it. Its our firm belief a physical exercise will be the best way to finish the theoretical discussion off with.

Healing after such will be provided by the School of War, and we will also endeavour to replace basic supplies as best we are able to.
