Ok, people of the forums, i need your help!

I need to find some background infomation on Gnomish tinkers, but all my attempts have sadly resulted in minimal results.

If any one could provided a usefull link, to the background of these elusive buggers i would be thankfull.

No, i mean just general background on Gnomish Tinkers.

Info like background history, famous creations, famous tinkers etc

Although the svirfs are really the main aspect of gnomish tinkers in the underdark, i want to get enough info to be able to create a mad litle fellow with a pennant for crating useless creations....And maybe some large fire related explodey things >.>

Gnomes are a great race to play, and certainly one of my favorites with halflings placing second. First, you can read about general race information as posted here:

Races of Stone is the official 3.5 ruleset book that replaced the above. If you do a good web search, I am sure there will have been someone who has placed a link somewhere to it that you can get.
