I would like to request permission to organize an event in the Arena. It will be a large political debate, organized for all candidates for the upcoming council elections.

The basic premise will be to put all candidates into the ring, request them to stand at the side, then ask two or more candidates to the middle to debate a specific topic that will be presented by the judges.

Currently, there is no set time when this is to take place, but there will be plenty of publicity when the moment has been pinpointed. Assuredly it will take place before the ballots open.

A fine idea.

I will of course lend the Arena space out as a viable place within which to hold the debates. No fees whatsoever; I'll be most interested in hearing the platforms of our electees. Let me known the time and date you wish to hold the debates, and I'll do my best to accomdate.
